Bushie's Chief of Staff might be going to jail

House holds Bolton, Miers in contempt - USATODAY.com

So, Bolten and Miers are now in contempt of Congress. Good stuff!

Looks like the Dems pulled some kinda weasel move with the rules,
to push this one through. (And, I'll just bet they'll be wishin' they
hadn't done that, six or eight years from now, but so what) -

So, Congress finally got the nads to call Bushie on his "secrecy" bit -

It seems to me, that We the People have got this clown Bush, six
ways from Sunday. He could be impeached today, if there
were a political will to do it. It's kind of a moot point though, since
there's only a couple hundred days left for his little circus there....

BUT - I highly commend the Congress for finally gettin'
some stones! It's about time! They never should have let
that weasel in the White House, go as far as he did, without screaming
to high heaven about it. To me, it's a clear case of Congress being
asleep at the wheel these last few years.

I am happy to see these people prosecuted, to the fullest
extent of the law. I want an example made of these clowns!
I never want anything like this Bush aberration, to happen ever
again, ever!!! Stuff like this is not supposed
to be able to happen in American politics. Some damn weasel is
not supposed to be able to thumb his nose at the Congress
    and get away with it!

Good for Congress! Three Cheers for the Rip van Congress!!!

It won't matter. The Republicans will be on Clinton or Obama like stripes on a Zebra the minute they take the oath of office. Privately funded groups are already collecting donations and even with a Democratic Congress they'll do it with private money like they did to Bill back in 92 - 94. Once they get congress again then they'll use public funds to investigate and persecute. This is small time compared to whats gonna happen if the Democrats win the WH in the Fall. If Hillary wins at least she'll be anticipating the attacks. There's probably some idealism left in Obama. He'll take a couple of hits before he figures out whats going on.

why do I get the feeling that bush is being attacked left and right, and he will spawn such a huge movement that is seen as 'truthful'....only that they destroy the American republic some other way.

I think I'll be old and gray before the Republicans get anywhere near power again.

Nah, they tried that before, remember? Remember that "Contract with America" thing? And how they broke every single plank of it? Well....

And then, their standard-bearer Clownie-boy over there in the White House, seems to have some kinda aversion to the truth too, and the rest of the Republi-Cons just go along with that idiot, they never even bother to question him -

So nah, I got no reason to trust those people anymore, and neither does anyone else. They've screwed everyone, even their own base!

Now their new clown McCain, is already taking gutless positions on critically important issues, and I mean..... if I know the American People, there will be a resounding voice in this election, and the Replicants will be "politically insignificant" for a long time to come.

And I mean, I'm one of 'em (one paper at least), so it doesn't make me especially happy to have to say that, but.... I speak the truth, to the best of my perception and ability, and I have no political agenda, other than the Common Welfare of the People of the United States (myself included, so that's just "enlightened self-interest").

Nah, no one likes the Borg. Once one of those clowns gets disconnected from the hive, they can't think for themselves. Ask 'em about the First Amendment, and they're like, "duh..... McCain-Feingold!"

That kinda crap is just not gonna fly in today's world. And Bushie has made that painfully clear. Did you hear that idiot today? "If you don't pass the FISA extension you're putting this country at risk of greater terror". What a lyin' scumbag that guy is! We gave that m/f everything, even stuff we weren't supposed to, and he still hasn't gotten Osama Bin Laden, even after 4 trillion dollars! And here he is, tellin' me that if I don't grant his stinkin' providers immunity, there's gonna be a nuke goin' off in my backyard or somethin'..... and I mean, immunity? What the hell for? You just told me they're gonna do it anyway, whether they have immunity or not, so why the hell should I grant them immunity??? Dumb clowns!!! :flickoff:

I have no reason, to believe one word, of anything any one of those weasels says.

They have lied to me repeatedly - even on [U]national freakin' television[/.U]! I heard the President of the United States sit there and tell me a bald-faced and straight-faced lie, about something in which I am an expert, I have spent forty years of my life with that technology and I know exactly how it works, and I'm sittin' here tellin' you as sure as I'm writin' these words, that what that man said to you and me, was a bald faced lie!!!

So nah, those Republican clowns gotta start way over.

The very first thing they gotta do, is kick those idiot Neo-Morons out of the tent.

Those bastids have ruined everything, those Neo-Clowns. And I mean, they're just gonna keep on ruinin', as long as they're around, 'cause that's just the nature of the beast. I can't even believe that those elected weasels are being more loyal to a demonstrable idiot than they are to the People of the United States!

Any court would find them mentally incompetent to stand trial.

Obviously the lies and incompetence of the dems have been forgotten. 2-4 years from now remember that you heard it here first.

The Dems are going to win in Nov.
They will screw up enough to give the Reps a veto-proof house and possibly senate in 2010.
In 2012 both majors are going to be on the ropes with a combined base of less than 50% of probable voters but no single 3rd party will be larger than the smallest major so it will get very interesting.

Everyone knows we don't as a people put those in positions such as this admin. in jail. We just don't do it. We talk about it day in and day out, but we never do that sort of thing.

Instead we wait for another election.

Since there is no Dem vision for the future and only symbolism, the only way this will not happen is if Obama convinces the extremes to stuff it and works for intelligent compromises. If he can pull this off, your prediction may not come to pass.

    See? Perfect case in point!

These Replicants are completely out of touch!

They're just repeating non-sensical drivel thry heard on Rush or somethin'....

"No vision for the future"..... ???

Dude, let me clue you in on somethin' - do you know who Obama's economic advisers are?

(You're gonna love this one.... )

Here, let me drop a few names on you, and you can Google them yourself:

    Austan Goolsbee
    David Cutler
    Jeffrey Liebman

That first one there, Goolsbee, is especially interesting. U of Chicago.... same place Leo Strauss came from! Hmmmm.....

I'm thinkin.... this just might be enough, to get your panties in a bunch for a while....
