Yah until you need government services to help you. See its easy to complain about it when you take it for granted as a given and then aren't using it at the moment. Only someone who takes his government for granted and lives a privileged or sheltered life would say the above. Good for you in your neighbourhood you don't need no stinkin policeman. You have gates and private security guards to keep the poo people out.

Well go speak to Ron Paul about it. He has made it clear he feels homo-sexuality is evil. The last time I looked neither John McCain or Obama were suggesting its illegal and since Hilary is gay you should vote for her if you want to be assured.

Ok...really you havent reading the posts very detailed. So jumping into the middle of an argument with what you think is well thought and and effective, really does not work out so well.

So, yeah...I believe in the princples our founding fathers laid out of...little government as possible.

The world has changed, society has changed.

Enforcing labor laws is not really so much government interference as much as it is protecting the market.

How does Sarbanes Oxley really effect the economy in a negative way? Or even in a constricting way?

Obviously labor laws are needed because we saw that technology grew so rapidly, that the orignators of the constituion and free market economics could not have foreseen the consequences on society. The rich and powerful take all the money and therefore have all the votes with lobbying.

If you read in the posts...I say I am actually willing to give up the government provided perks like health care and all that...if it comes to the point where that would need to happen for change. There are other ways of receiving those benefits.

Education should not be privatized because it would be like the industrial revolution again...only those in power could afford a great education, and monopolies would form in the form of schools. So the government should be invovled.

Did I say anything about which candidate endorses what about homosexuality?

I might think homo sex is wrong, but that does not mean I would make it illegal and I doubt Ron Paul would either.

So really you are just kind of talking out of your ass there buddy.

The point of this post was to get people to think what they believe the role of the government should be, if the government is fitting that role, and to try to fix it if not. That is what the duty of a citizen is in our society.

Sitting here and tearing down what people write without reading the whole way through is toll like and moronic.

and what the hell...you live in Canada? you either left, or never lived here...either way you do not live in the USA. Work on your own constitution you wanna be frencher.
