So with all the protests, discontent, and general hate of all politicians, thats right FOX News even though you are trying to spin it that people are mad at the Dem's unfortunately for you we hate all politicians equally, Do you guys believe that if current trends continue 2010 will be the year of the 3rd parties?

I guess the reason I ask is because I have voted 3rd party before however now more than ever would be the time for 3rd parties to strike. I say why not how much worse could they really make it.

It seems obvious to me that the two party system is bought and paid for, I say it is time to destroy this left right, Democrat, Republican paradigm.

I mean look at the Choices

Constitutionalist, Libertarian, Green, hell create your own for that matter, I say next year will be the best chance they have if things continue on the same path.

I agree,, and I have already made up my mind that I will not vote for ANY incumbant... and I will not vote for either the Dems or the Repubs... I will see who is running for any other party,, research their background and then make my decision...I am sick of the business as usual in DC.. it is time for a major change..

I'd happily vote for a third party candidate if he/she has a superior position and they can clearly explain how he/she would efficiently and effectively implement that position. I didn't see that in the last election so I crossed party lines and voted Democrat because Obama was, in my opinion, superior to the rest.

I'll vote for the candidate who's best and not just because they're different.

Exactly vote for the individual who best represents your views, remember voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil.

I think it is time to start thinking about what is most important to you in this country, and god forbid you may actually have to start questioning some of the things that both parties are proposing.

Except that none of the candidates were by any stretch of the imagination "evil." Some were just better than others as regards their political views. I felt that Obama had the best plan, he explained himself quite clearly and he had excellent credentials. The other candidates just didn't measure up to Obama during the campaign.

I try to vote third party when possible, I don't do it just to do it, I vote for the candidate of my liking. I am registered 'non party'.

That said, I got active with Campaign for Liberty, were moving in on the parties, Schiff and others will run partisan. I suggest that this is how change in the system can be exacted. It takes a great deal of effort and dollars for a third party to get on the ballots, even in state races.

HINT: as long as keep thinking about them and referring to them as "third" parties,

    that's exactly what we'll get.

Oh bullshit. Both candidates from both parties are part of the problem. Obama got elected because they were voting against John McCain, not for Obama!

Yep. Anyone with an (R) after their name would have lost that election.

I'm not so sure about that. If McCain had picked a competant VP he would not have lost so many of the repub votes. I know many who were for him prior to naming the dimwit.
