Thread: Why Is Lieberman Standing Behind McCain?

I am watching McCain's news conference right now on MSNBC and Lieberman is standing behind him to McCain's right. What's up with this guy? McCain's VP?

The rerason Joe is with McCain is the war, short & simple.

He's an indy. Agrees pretty strongly with Republican agenda on foreign affairs.

I think Joe is John's liberal handler, making sure he doesn't stray from the liberal line too far while attempting to pander to conservatives in the weeks to come.

Cons of a feather flock together.

Because McCain and Joe and GW are right on the war and 75% of the people on this board are wrong.

Some people have a strange concept of Liberal. Clinton is hardly Liberal and Lieberman most certainly is not. Ever heard of Moderate? Centrist?

In my opinion, most conservatives don't even recognize the existence of moderate democrats. But it is only fair as most liberals don't recognize the existence of moderate republicans.

Yeah Liberals do the same thing. Anyone who believes in the 2nd is a gun loving redneck. It's the extremist on both sides that I think hurt this country. I just don't get where people can call Hillary a Lib :P

I mean compared to Mike Savage, sure she is.

Hillary is a socialist bordering on communist.
