That goes for any dipshit who thinks we should stay unless you have been there, I'm not say you hv to hv done anything but at least hv shown up for the game, then you have no fucking right to even armchair quarterback the decision for our young men and women to be there.
As a Viet Nam vet, I as well as many other vets (both during my time and those who have been in the sand box) and current active duty personnel feel that we should get the job done!

Hey, not knocking you for your opinion, however, there are others out there who are not armchair quarterbacking that have an opposing opinion..

Btw, as far as McCain getting his ass back in the grass, well my friend, he did his part for this country. He was even given the chance to get out of prison early, but would not sell out his country. Look, you may not like him and that's cool, however, to say that he needs to get his ass in the grass... well, that is just wrong. I doubt you endured what he did!!!

First let me say thank you for your service, I have no disrespect for John. However seeing how he did go through a hell of a lot as have all Vietnam vets in a war that was never declared for political reasons, should understand completely why we have no business in Iraq.

Hey believe me I would love to win the war tomorrow, however no one has actually defined what would be winning? keeping bases there forever? Installing a democracy in a country that it will not work in due to their religion and politics, much like Vietnam? In my opinion the military has won there, we went we faced the best they had in open combat, we faced the bulk of the insurgency and we won.

Now all we are doing is policing a beat where no one wants us. Wasting money that we do not have when we have Vets here that make up the bulk of the Homeless, and do not get the proper care that they should.

This country is going to have to learn that unless you have clearly defined objectives before going to war you will never accomplish jack shit.

All this being said I would have no problem asking John McCain point blank to get his ass back in the grass because he obviously didnt learn enough from it the first time.

You have your opinion I have mine, Semper Fi thats what makes us who we are.
