Thread: About That Stimulus Pkg....

Do you honestly think the so called stimulus program is really going to do much good ?

By the time Congress is done playing around and adding more worthless pork for their special interest, we not only won't get anything worthwhile but will arrive WAY too late to have much of an effect, not that I thought all that much of it from the start.

Why does Congress ask these so called experts to testify anyway, they don't listen, I guess they have too much fun acting important by playing their political games instead of getting the thing passed where we actually get something worthwhile that may make some difference, by the time they get the job done, it will be too little, too late, that of course is just my opinion.

Yaah!! Uh yes illegals will get money from the government too. They already are. This is just a bonus. Not to mention all their free hospital visits they already get. I am sure I will recieve a check when the stimulus package passes, because I am 'poor.' Although, I do not want to accept it. Can I do that?

Donate your rebate to the local la Raza org, they'll get it one way or another anyway.

Getting amnesty and opening the borders is exactly what the elitists are trying to accomplish in this election. Note that if you get a McCain vs. anybody election then you have no choice to vote for a candidate that is against amnesty.

The truth is that the "smart guys" from the ivy league schools have been milking our government and economy for their own power and gain for a long time and it doesn't matter which party you elect. Now that they have put it into the crapper out of their own greed they are going to milk another few decent years of profits for themselves by bringing in illegals.

The stimulus package will do more to stimulate the Chinese economy than ours because everybody will spend it buying Chinese goods. What a travesty.

the reseason you get a refund, is because you pay taxes. so if an illegal pays taxes, then they get a refund. theres no bank to rob.

your analogies work fine if the illegal is NOT pay taxes. then they're spot on.

plus, think of how many people in this country don't pay their taxes, and are citizens. they'll all probably get refunds too. i mean i would hope not, but i didn't read anything that showed how they would avoid that.

So now we have three choices with the money, we can send some to the oil companies, some to China, and some to Mexico. I feel the economy doing better already.

Illegals don't pay taxes. Who do they pay taxes to? Your logic on this issue is flawed and I think you know it.
