the only question I have is this:
how big of a drop will it need to be before there is universal realization that indeed there IS a big recession coming, and not just normal 'credit crunching'.

We have been in recession for a long time, I am sick of this. Look they fudge the numbers, they are good at it. Canada's market dropped 600 points today, world markets have drooped huge. After tomorrow the will plummet. I hear that what we have to look forward to is on the scale of the great depression. There will be a run on the banks, Los Angeles experienced that late last year, where was the media???

Better mend fences with your families, that may help ride this out.

Are you being sarcastic or are you actually serious? I seriously doubt that the country/world will fall into a serious reccession TOMORROW.

It's not looking really good to be sure. Luckily I have little to no net worth, so I won't lose a lot.

Seriously, after the European markets went down that far today, tomorrow is not going to be pretty.

I note with glee that Goldman Sachs managed to stick the Chinese with some of that useless sub-prime paper - well done!

Really, well then you had better believe this, it might take a few days. Have you looked at the figures?

My advise, get a tight hold on your money.

I think they might drop it. Countries have been buying less and less of the stuff. That is one factor they are not telling you.
