Tea Party Tops GOP on Three-Way Generic Ballot

Among voters not affiliated with either major party, the Tea Party comes out on top. Thirty-three percent (33%) prefer the Tea Party candidate, and 30% are undecided. Twenty-five percent (25%) would vote for a Democrat, and just 12% prefer the GOP.

Well then I guess I misjudged his popularity. Lies really do work.

Well the first thing one needs to remember, or know, is We Are Change, and The Campaign for Liberty started the TEA Party revolution, Beck and the scum GOP tried to hijack it. Most of us saw this, and told you.

I think the well entrenched establishment shot themselves in the foot. I expect to see a great showing of "Campaign for Liberty" candidates taking key states in 2010 and 12.

    Actually Steez....

You have to remember that this is for "unaffiliated" voters (and how many of these are ex-republicans).

Here is another representation from the same article, I can only presume its affilitaed voters since the article doesnt make the distinction:

    Survey of 1,000 Likely Voters

    December 4-5, 2009

Suppose the Tea Party organized itself as a political party. When thinking about the next election for Congress, would you vote for the Republican candidate from your district, the Democratic candidate from your district or the Tea Party candidate from your district?

    Democratic 36%

    Tea Party 23%

    Republican 18%

    Not sure 22%

I think it's admirable and all, but I'd be absolutely shocked if more than 5% could name what the Tea Party 'party' stands for. Personally I'd file this under marketing 101 (name recognition) rather than a litmus of political swings.

I do think the GOP brand has been damaged, though. But I could have told you that four years ago

I hope every single member of the Campaign for Liberty in Congress is re-elected, and maybe some news ones up there to replace the neocon scum.
