Thread: US Releases Dramatic Video of Iran Boat Incident

The U.S. Navy released dramatic video and audio of this weekend's stand-off with Iran. The video shows Iranian speedboats swarming around three American warships going through the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.

At the chilling culmination of the tape, a voice can be heard over the radio, apparently from the Iranians, saying, "I am coming at you. You will explode after a few minutes."

The official Iranian response at first was that it was an ordinary incident. Now they are claiming the video was fabricated.

My concern was with how close they came to the USS Hopper. If they had explossives on board could they have detonated and we would have another USS Cole type incident. Why did the Navy allow them to get so close? Why were they not blown out of the water? And is that exactly what the Irainians wanted us to do? We saw what dammage a small boat can do to a large navel ship in Yeman on Oct 12, 2000. Anyway here is the article with the video clip. ~ JoeBobKillaCommy:whistling:

This is possible. But it is also possible that men wearing life jackets aren't intending on dying. If I was going to blow up a warship I'd probably not really give 2 shits about life jackets. Just an observation.

Unless those life jackets were suicide vest. You seem to forget who we are talking about here. These men are most likely shiite muslims waiting for the return of the hidden Imam. Iv'e got to get ready for work. Don't have time to explain. But if you google 12th Imam (hidden Imam) you can research what Im talking about. You might include Ahmadinejad in your query.

Having recently completed a boating course I can tell you that the term "life jacket" is incorrect, we are to refer to them as "floatation devices" due to the fact that while they will assist you in floating, the will not actually save your life.
