Talk Of Hillary Exit Engulfs Campaigns

Facing a double-digit defeat in New Hampshire, a sudden collapse in national polls and an expected fund-raising drought, Senator Hillary Clinton is preparing for a tough decision: Does she get out of the race? And when?!

"She can't take multiple double-digit losses in New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada," laments one top campaign insider to the DRUDGE REPORT. "If she gets too badly embarrassed, it will really harm her. She doesn't want the Clinton brand to be damaged with back-to-back-to-back defeats."
Also, If you read more of the link provided, it talks about hoe Edwards is ONLY STAYING in the race because Hillary might drop out. Obama is beating the hell out of them both. I hope he is the democratic choice, even though I want a republican to win. I kinda like Obama

Sorry I can't post a link cause I'm an idiot. This will have to do. DRUDGE REPORT FLASH 2008®

So what do you think? Will she stay or go?

Hmmm... Seems like the most likely scenario would be Hillary would make a deal with John Edwards (if he drops out), that he would be her VP. Although I really think Edwards people would go to Obama, or Kucinich, or wouldn't bother showing up (not Hillary).

Her behavior and the electorate's dissatisfaction with her make her a serious liability to the Democrats. I forsee the party forcing her out.

An Obama/Edwards ticket seems quite interesting, doesn't it?

Bourne I'm surprised to hear you say this, you're a conservative no?

Is Obama/Clinton also an option? Or does the ticket need a white male (I think there is still certainly bigotry and racism in the country)?

Of course, with all the change momentum, Hillary on the ticket is probably a no, no. Obama/Edwards I guess seems like the conventional wisdom.

Edwards has a much more anti-establishment message (other than Kunicich) of pretty much all the Democrats, I don't know if that's something Obama wouldn't want to touch; or who knows maybe he'd embrace it.

Re: Talk Of Hillary Exit Engulfs Campaigns

There is a fever pitch on conservative radio. It seems that nearly everyone of the big conservatives is pro Obama and of course anti Clinton. I think this is so because they believe Obama can't win against the top tier Republicans. I also think these conservative talk show hosts are making a big mistake. The more they tell their audiences how good Obama is the more they will listen. The anti Hillary talk is going to bite them too. It's way too early in the game for anyone to actually believe she's ready to call it quits after one poor showing. Besides, which poll do you give credit to. Nearly every news agency out there has its own poll. Just chek out Presidential nomination poll tracker - USATODAY.com

Obama currently wins against ANY of the Republicans, according to the latest opinion polls "on average". The closest is Rudy, who's down by 3 points. And um... I don't suppose the Republicans are going to have "much" to talk about except national security, 'cause it looks like the economy is starting to tank just now, so.... hmm.... yes, I smell an Obama victory. Could be big. They'll try to take him apart, of course, but I mean, if you can't take that kind of thing you probably shouldn't be Prez, right?

    I agree.
At a time like this the bitch should be acting like she's not a bitch.
    Hopefully her exit is swift.

All you have to do is talk about; should Hillary quit or not? And within weeks I guarantee that the question will come up publicly from her campaign.

Hillary is toast because people are tired of corporate greed and they view her as in bed with the corporations, and they view her as too hawkish. Dems want to stop occupying Iraq and start spending the 140 billion a month on America, not handing it to crony crooks.
