Thread: Police say 32 killed, 34 wounded, by suicide bomber in eastern Baghdad

A suicide bomber detonated a vest loaded with explosives at a Shiite funeral in eastern Baghdad on Tuesday, killing at least 32 people and wounding 34 others, [COLOR=blue! important][COLOR=blue! important]police[/COLOR][/COLOR] and ambulance officials said.


The explosion took place in Baghdad's eastern Zayouna neighborhood, a mixed Shiite and Sunni district, the officials said on customary condition of anonymity.
The funeral was being held for Nabil Hussein Jassim, a retired army officer who had been killed in a car bombing in downtown Baghdad's Tayaran Square on Friday. That blast left at least 14 people dead. Source Here.....

get real, do you think that all violence in iraq is going to end today! the middle east is a hotbed of violence. that is why it is important for us to stabilize the region and not support the "cut and run" policies of kucinich and obama!

does this mean the surge isn't working?

Goes to show actually how far off these terrorists are from what they think they beleive to be their duty to God. Funerals are a chance for Muslims to offer testimony and prayer on behalf of the dead in order to aid his transition from life to afterlife. *Sighs*
