I've had many long debates with Vortex. She's stubborn and in my opinion, uses circular logic, but she will also stick with a long discussion and drive depth. At least, that has been my experience with her in discussions of PNAC, Hamdan V Rumsfeld and the Iraq War.

And to return this thread to its topic, the press has done a horrid job of explaining climate to the public. They prefer a broad Us versus Them polemic with as little, boring science as possible.

There are few exceptions and surprisingly, PBS and NPR seem to be the exceptions.
