I can see some of that but mostly it seemed he wanted to clarify Paul's position on those issues; the same issues that got Paul his name in those periods.

It takes me about 20 minutes to get to Paul's district in Galveston so you can bet he is quite well known around here for some of the things he said back in those days.. so I felt Russert had the right to ask.

The important thing is Paul did well.

Ya Paul did well, in fact I lived it when he slapped back a couple of times. Russert is a Neoclown and damn proud of it.

Where you got the idea that he wants to govern Texas I will never know. I would guess that if he looses this race he will finish his congressional term and throw in the towel.

Well, it was an entertaining show if nothing else. I'm not in the Paul for Prez camp, but some of the topics he discussed were very interesting. Like bringing home all foreign troops, ending the drug war, allowing only congress to declare war, legalizing drugs (oddly they didn't get to the Federal Reserve, or at least I missed it if they did).

It was funny when Little Russ pulled out all the quotes against Reagan, Poppa and Baby Bush, I don't even remember Paul's answer, but regardless of what he said it's clear this trio are not his three favorite people...
