    OVER THE SOCIAL SECRETARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

White House Blocks Testimony on Party Crashers

The White House on Wednesday invoked the separation of powers to keep Desiree Rogers, President Obama’s social secretary, from testifying on Capitol Hill about how a couple of aspiring reality television show celebrities crashed a state dinner for the prime minister of India last week.'''''

So she is involved in personal policy discussions with the President? They will look like fools and like they are trying to cover up something it they go this route.

This is non news. Why do you think Congress is doing this? Could it possibly be pending legislation? Could the WH be complicit in this ruse? Could the WH have manufactured this ruse?

    Just asking.

Wow. That's just retarded. Now the Reublicans can scream about the Whitehouse lack of cooperation, just like the Democrats did when Former President Bush blocked his people from testifying about this or that...

And I would hate to be responsible for the President's security, with his own staff members compromising it... holy crap.
When it comes to GOP stupidity, there's no need to make stuff up.

Well, that let's the Salahi's (sp?) off the hook. Since they're not going to be allowed to confront a key witness when they're put on trial for embarassing the president, the judge will have no choice but to dismiss the case.

The real question is what the hell is Obama hiding by extending executive privilege to his social secretary for an incident at a pointless Washington party?

That's a damn interesting question and it should be investigated.

Great. I'm at work trying to suppress my laughter and I sound like Mutley.
As a Democrat, I take solace in the fact that the Republicans have nominated the guy who lost the nomination to the guy who lost the presidency to the guy who is now the President.

I'm waiting for the Stinger thread about Obama's dog regularly shitting on the lawn in the rose garden and Obama misuses the taxpayer funded groundskeeping staff by making them clean it up. That would rate as a Stinger classic.
