Boxer says that the hackers that exposed the corrupt climatologist should be prosecuted. Funny how she thinks these scientist that destroyed, hid or plain just made up data should pretty much get a free pass.

The current government is fucking insane. Who ever exposed these climatologist should be rewarded.

I'm glad at least some people are starting to notice that.

    Insane... in the membrane.
"While I am a great believer in the free competitive enterprise system and all that it entails, I am an even stronger believer in the right of our people to live in a clean and pollution-free environment. To this end, it is my belief that when pollution is found, it should be halted at the source, even if this requires stringent government action against important segments of our national economy."

I've known it for some time. The Democrats are just a long line of scum bags and liars and now it starts at the top. Obama is practically pathological when it comes to telling serious lies.

Republicans are at times guilty of the same kind of ridiculous ideological partisanship.

Exactly why being an independent centrist has it's advantages.

Boxer: Hacked 'Climategate' emails may face criminal probe By Michael O'Brien - 12/02/09 03:26 PM ET

Leakedemails allegedly undermining climate change science should be treatedas a criminal matter, Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) said Wednesday.

Boxer, the top Democrat on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, said that the recently-released emails, showing scientists allegedlyoverstating the case for climate change, should be treated as acriminal matter.

"You call it 'Climategate,' I call it'E-mail-theft-gate,'" she said during a committee meeting on Wednesday."Whatever it is, the main issue is are we facing global warming or arewe not. I'm looking at these emails, that, even though they werestolen, are now out in the public."

The emails, from scientistsat the University of East Anglia, were obtained through email hacking. The messages showed the director of the university's Climate ResearchUnit discussing ways to strengthen the unit's case for global warming.Climate change skeptics have seized on the e-mails, arguing that theydemonstrate manipulation in environmental science.

Boxer saidher committee may hold hearings into the matter, as its top Republican,Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), has asked, but that a criminal probe wouldbe part of any such hearings.

"We may well have a hearing onthis, we may not. We may have a briefing for senators, we may not,"Boxer said. "Part of our looking at this will be looking at a criminalactivity which could have well been coordinated."

"This is a crime," Boxer said.

"Whatever it is, the main issue is are we facing global warming or are we not. I'm looking at these emails, that, even though they were stolen, are now out in the public."...

that sounds like she's talking about the scientists, not the hackers.

you know its hard to say, but yea, you're right, she COULD be talking about the scientists. its really hard to say from her language.

but of course DRUDGE says she said the hackers should get time and the scientists a free pass.

must be nice to just make shit up.
