Thread: Dennis Kucinich and ........Ron Paul?!?

Dennis Kucinich has announced his first pick for running mate, and it is (dramatic pause…..):

Call it the liberal-libertarian ticket, where left meets right and Democrat Dennis Kucinich picks Republican Ron Paul to be his vice president.

Kucinich, the Cleveland congressman running in a longshot bid to become president, suggested it himself today.

“I’m thinking about Ron Paul” as a running mate, Kucinich told a crowd of about 70 supporters at a house party here, one of numerous stops throughout New Hampshire over the Thanksgiving weekend. A Kucinich-Paul administration could bring people together “to balance the energies in this country,” Kucinich said.

Interesting.........

Hopefully, if that's 100% true, it'll send Hillary further down in the polls and put her out of contention.....

NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Luigi, no offense, but I thought you were nuts when you first suggested it, and now it may be a reality????

I told you man, there's a lot of truth over there that people have been dying to hear for years. Something like that would probably be more feasible in 2012 though.

I don't think it would work though. The two men have diametrically opposed philosophies on economics and the role of gov't in people's lives.

I agree and besides, why would Paul run as a Vp, to Kucinich of all candidates?

He would have no reason to be VP. It's not like he can use his VP experience to run for President later. He would be stupid to accept it. He can wield more power in the House.

& that is why it will never happen. People (many) don't want the truth, they want handouts, Koochie would give the handouts, RP would not.
