The last count in Sweden was 17800 homeless people. This is in a country with a population of 9,174,082 inhabitants. I tend to believe that to be a rather low number of homeless people compared to most countries. However, due to the cracks that are emerging in the wellfare system - mainly due to expenses of the mass immigration from poor countries - the rate is on the rise.
