Darn, Neocon welfare bleeding American taxpayers

Yeah, the neocons hate paying for social programs like art, or afterschool programs, but when it comes to defense for a foreign country - get out of the da way or you will get trampled. opcorn: And anytime Bush wants to spend money without congress say-so he just calls it classified programs.

WASHINGTON (Nov. 18) — Over the past six years, the Bush administration has spent almost $100 million on a highly classified program to help Gen. Pervez Musharraf, Pakistan’s president, secure his country’s nuclear weapons, according to current and former senior administration officials.
But with the future of that country’s leadership in doubt, debate is intensifying about whether Washington has done enough to help protect the warheads and laboratories, and whether Pakistan’s reluctance to reveal critical details about its arsenal has undercut the effectiveness of the continuing security effort.

Uh, that's kind of more important. This is a good thing.

I agree. If there isn't security regarding nuclear weapons in the world, there won't be a lot of art or after-school programs left to fund.

Huh? OK, how is the USA sticking their nose in foreign countrys business a good thing? We got our nose stuck in Iraq, and that was supposed to be a good thing as well. ANd sticking our nose in Israels business was supposed to be a good thing. And sticking our nose in Vietnam was supposed to be a good thing. And sticking our nose in Korea was supposed to be a good thing.

I see a pattern developing here.

That first part sounds good, but what makes you think the USA should be in there guarding someone elses nukes with our big fat noses??

And let me ask you, is the 100 million being blown off in Pakistan worth more than the education of American school children?? Hmmm? opcorn:

$100 million on a highly classified program

Maybe we should just shut down all the social programs in America, because it seems Americans are getting dumber than a sack of rocks anyway, and just turn the whole friggin herd into world police. That way we can stick our nose in everybodies business, and keep on warring until we are all friggin dead.

You have a genetic condition? Do you believe the rest of us do? Why did you use the word "our" in that sentence?

Probably. Spending it in Pakland keeps it out of the hands of the NEA.

Yeah. Know what that means? It means you don't know what it means.

Excellent idea. They all violate the Constitution anyway.

They did elect George Bush, they did vote for Gore AND Kerry. See? Money spent on education in this country is totally wasted anyway.

So why did all the liberals insist we invade Haiti again? Kosovo? Demanded US action on South Africa in the 1980's? Complained throughout the Rapist Years that Bush (the first one) didn't remove Hussein from power, and complain now that Bush (this one) did? Didn't complain that the Rapist didn't do anything to help Rwanda, and complain now that we're not doing anything about Darfur?

Are you kidding? Making sure nukes are secure worldwide, especially in unstable poor muslim countries is an excellent idea, well worth my taxes.

Your not talking about marching into a foriegn country and taking over, and bombing the shit out of everything. This article is about ensuring there are proper safeguards and security to thwart terrorist attacks.

Things like this are almost always classified, at least for a while. Imagine what would happen to Musheraff if people in his country found out he was getting military aid and dictation from the great satan? Forget it, just turn on the news you can see first hand.

And when the terrorist lop off those Americans noses and drag them through the streets, what do you think we will be doing then?? And if they are not there, then it doesn't increase the risk of the USA being involved AGAIN, where we don't belong, and where we are paying a very high price for America.

Bush is just setting him up for the fall, and another opportunity to go warring. Why didn't they hire Black water? You know this is a setup.
