Thread: why Marjiuana shouldnt be legal

Are you dumb? Most the people i know who have smoked act the same age as when they started. So if you smoked in 9th grader you can be 40 and still be immature and the exact same as when you were a 9th grader.

Anything you smoke every day is addicting
"The Native Americans did it and they were fine"
The native americans only did it for ceremonies and for celebrations they used it in moderation.
all i could think of now but add on why.

This isn't actually an argument since you just made it up off the top of your head. It doesn't support any known message of any single marijunana advocate I've met. Has no basis in science or medicine, has little to do with any issue concerning the drug, and is kind of ridiculous. It isn't how you act... that is even of concern here.

I have to agree, I smoke brisquette(sp), sausage, pork, chicken, and it certainly leaves me wanting more. Also I smoke pot and if I don't have any pot at the moment, I could care less. I have had zero yearning for pot when I do not have it around. Of course I smoke very little and not super often. I bet it could be addictive and I'm sure to some people it is, so you got us there. Addiction usually isn't a huge issue unless that which you are addicted to kills you, kills them, or is in some way otherwise a burden to society. Like tobacco; as you mentioned in the first point against legalization.

Actually Indians were noted to use pot but not as much as you may think. The plant today is more hybrid than it was then and although it has been considered a 'weed' throughout history there are more reports of its use in history outside of the border...like the rest of that disco ball out there we call earth.

I have not heard one advocate for pot legalization advocate based on Indians, how chill you are while high, its addictive aspect (I don't see why anyone would even mention this if they wanted it legal) or that it doesn't 'hurt anyone.'

Most legalization is about medicine and the sick. Sure some pot heads and sober people alike want it legal, some do not, others don't care. I think it should be legal because its prohibition and that shit needs to end. Pretty simple to me.

If anything it shjould be legal because we have much bigger fish that need frying. Prohibition has never and will never work. Tax and regulate the hell out of it and you will have yet another revenue stream coming into the gvt to pay off the debt that has been inccurred fighting yet another needless and wasteful war....this one on drugs.

I think it is wrong to smoke it but people are going to keep doing it so i think we should just do what switzerland did and legalize it.

Red wine isnt too bad for you. Infact it can be beneficial.
