Crappy jobs a GOP tradition it seems

In 2005, almost one-third of American workers had a job that met all three bad criteria, about the same share as in 1979, according to the report.
"Even worse, despite substantial economic growth since the end of the 1970s, the share of bad jobs in the U.S. economy has remained essentially unchanged for over a quarter century," according to the report.

Ah yet again the statistics show that the rise of Conservative economic dogma over real economic policy is leading the country to ruin. By and large the rise of conservative BS as economic policy is leaving to many American's behind the curve....can there be any more doubt that the entire thing is just another bit of proof that CONservatives and economics should be kept far, far apart.

So under Democratic rule there would be no low paying jobs?

Wow, we just matched an issue that was a problem when a Democrat ran the country. Hmm, I think that means that both parties are to blame for this issue since they tied each other.

So everything would be spiffy if no one had to do the low paying jobs?

Oh and the majority of the 'substantial growth after the 1970's' had a GOP in the WH. Hmm, I think this thread is basically worthless now.

Prior to the rise of CONservative economic policies we saw increased wages from one generation to the next, less debt from one generation to the next and the list goes on and on. Under keysian economics and support of labor rights (something the CONservatives fight against tooth and nail) we saw better jobs created and better overall wages. To be sure there were problems to be dealt with as well but the end result of pre-Reagan Revolution economics was a stronger middle class.

Sorry but facts is facts the CONservative lie of trickle down has been a dismal failure for the average American.

The government should not be involved in increased wages.
