WASHINGTON, November 2 (RIA Novosti) - U.S. President George W. Bush blasted Congress in a Thursday speech for failing to take the terrorist threat seriously, and compared Osama bin Laden to Adolf Hitler and Vladimir Lenin.
In a speech to the Heritage Foundation, a Washington-based right-wing think tank, he defended U.S. military campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan, and urged Democrat-controlled Congress not to restrict funding for Iraq operations, limit anti-terrorist intelligence-gathering methods, or block his appointment of a new attorney general.

I think that Bush should sit out the remainder of his term in a padded room.

there is some truth to the comparison.
global domination, Islamization, killing uncompassionately, lack of pluralism in ideology.
but please continue to be blind to AQ and Ussama's goals.

Well where is BL, dead perhaps, so yes their may be some comparison after all.

Bush is more like Hitler and Stalin than any president we have ever had in this country. Man you talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

Most Republicans probably don't even know who Lenin is. And I doubt Bush does either. They probably think he was referring to John Lennon.

ethnic cleansing? I don't recall anything that indicates that.
while I don't care for Bush I don't see any Hitleresque resemblances.

but Osama (and his followers of millions) do have genocide in mind.

Bush is nobody. he has no power. you give him too much credit.
further you dilute the Hitler comparrison which is just what the enemy wants from Americans.
