WASHINGTON - Blackwater USA tried to take at least two Iraqi military aircraft out of Iraq two years ago and refused to give the planes back when Iraqi officials sought to reclaim them, according to a congressional committee investigating the private security contractor.
Democratic Rep. Henry Waxman, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, wants the company to provide all documents related to the attempted shipment and to explain where the aircraft are now.

Blackwater has said its Sept. 16 convoy was under attack before it opened fire, killing 17 Iraqis. An investigation by the Iraqi government concluded that guards, like the ones shown, were unprovoked.

What a fine organization that makes money off of killing people, with no accountability for their actions.

I think that the "contractors" think that Iraq is theres. They think that they have the permission to do anything that they want, including killing people, anything for profits eh?

A July 2007 report from the American Congressional Research Service indicates that the Iraqi government still has no authority over private security firms contracted by the U.S. government.[22]

I think thats how all the western countries do as you can see through their foreign policies.

Eastern countries do the same thing. Hell, all countries have done this sort of thing throughout historyl, and that includes Muslim countries as well.

oh i know haha but most eastern countries dont have the power so its not the prevelant :P. Doesnt make it right because everyone does it .

Blackwater unfortunately is going nowhere, if they get kicked out of Iraq they would either have to end this mess or draft. There is no other choice!

Doesn't black water only employ like 20,000 people? and only a fraction of them are in Iraq. Im sure it would be a set back if they were forced out, but we wouldn't immediatly be forced to withdraw. Another firm could be hired, a few thousand troops could stay longer, I don't think that the administration cares at this point.
