And it will continue to be that way until the American people wake up, which I don't think they ever will. We have become to complacent with the system and are afraid of change.

I agree with that 100%. However, I do believe if we got off our ass & vote, voice our opinions, it could change. The amnesty bill going down in flames proves that it can be done.

I agree. But the only problem is that people keep voting for the same people and the same government. Every few elections, people vote for "change", but all they are really doing is switching back and forth to the "other" party, therefore, not really changing anything except what they are called. Republicans and Democrats - it's the same difference.
