Turks warn U.S. over genocide vote

    CNN.com - (CNN) --
Turkish President Abdullah Gul has warned the U.S. that a congressional bill recognizing the mass killings of Armenians during World War One as genocide could cause "serious problems" for relations between the two countries.
One question for the American government:' Why don't you then also recognize your genocide comitted against the Iraqis, it's was much later than the Armenian genocide?' okebrain:

Re: Turks warn U.S. over genocide vote

This is the kind of propaganda that is sent out in emails, none of it is accurate and an attempt to allow them to go into Northern Iraq and hinder the American and other forces there... apparently:

    Dear Authoritative,

Until now PKK Terror Organization has killed more than 30.000 innocent people including elders, women and children. Even though as a country we take every preventive measures within our borders, European countries or in other words, our so-called friends still condone the activities of hundreds of PKK bureaus functioning under the appearance of civil public foundations which eventually encourage PKK militants to offend drug, prostitution, weapon and illegal money transmittance.

Your hidden protection facilitates PKK militanst to wander around particularly North Iraq and Iraq and to establish illegal contacts to add new members. And they deploy camps next to our borders with the help of illegal finance resources acquired in Europe and USA as well as of light and heavy weapons smuggled from USA Army, Europe and region countries, Russian mafia.

While you comfortably sit on your chairs, our soldiers have still been attacked by treacherous ignobles. That irritates us because we have got nothing left to say to our martyrs’ families.

We have vowed for the shed blood of our martyrs whether you support us or not, because we are the citizens of a strong country to succeed whatever we aim.

This is the last time we warn you.

You either surrender PKK or become responsible for the forthcoming events.

I commend the US Congress for recognising the Turkish slaughter of the roughly 1.5 million Armenians. I hope that Israel does the same thing, now that the USA has provided it with the moral lead.

This is the America I admire and respect. These are the people who are prepared to put principle before pragmatism. I takes my hat (if I had one) off to you!

Leo-That happened 92 years ago, I think congress could better utilize their time & our tax $$ by condemming some of the countries that are practicing some really horrific human rights tragedies.
