Yeah Gavel is a goof ball. He had no answer for "Why should this country follow you when you couldn't even keep up with your own financial affairs.

This is the problem. Few people are truly great people. Few people rise above their own egos to acheive greatness. People that are comfortible in their own skins, that value other people no matter who those othes are, can manage well, are cool under pressure and calm under attack, are not reactionary but proactive, that fear nothing and don't promote fear, can listen and speak well, be well educated and selfmotivated, and a deep understanding of the BROAD spectrum, are not self-serving, Know history and fact and can distinguish them from hype and propaganda, and can see in to the future(not like a psychic, but like a progressive thinking person. The Democratic party is blessed with relatively a large number right now. Hillary, Obama, John Edwards, and more that aren't even running. Gavel is definately not one of them. If Huckaby wasn't such a religious freak and could pull his head out of the dogma and look to the future he might have these qualities but alas he is buried in religious rhetoric and hysteria.

Yea, I thought the same thing when he made that credit card company statement. Then comparing himself to Donald Trump to justify bankruptcy as an everyday business tool.
