I'll give you a hint: First she has to steal the nomination from the other candidates in her party.

Unless Democratic voters are crazy enough to roll over and give it to her. Hopefully, they will. I can't think of a better thing for the republican candidate in '08. Hillary is a liability for the left; it is likely that her nomination will garner a lot of moderates and even libs to vote Right.

The minority (and sometimes the majority) has been ripped off during countless elections before. what makes you think that a solid republican win would be our Armageddon? seeing as how most libs dislike gun rights, I don't see how a disgruntled left would rise up to overthrow the government without any weapons, not to mention the fact that they are all about peace and love and bunch of happy-go-lucky gibberish like that.

Peace and love exist, thankfully, and one doesn't have to subscribe to a political faction to express it. If one does need a crutch to express it, they don't have it to begin with.

The fact of the matter is that gun rights aren't the issue to the partisan "left" in America. ("Left" in quotation marks because America really doesn't have a "left".) The issue to many who toe the line is that gun rights represent a different political faction than theirs. It represents a different frame of mind, when in reality, the demographics run the gamut amongst supporters of gun rights, myself included.

The gun rights debate has been reduced to an election issue between Republican and Democrat elitists who use the issue to get votes, nothing more. The People of the United States will not stand, as a whole, for the government stripping their rights to gun ownership. It won't happen. The true revolutionaries in the United States don't subscribe to either party.

Hillary is going to win. last minute decisions by women at the polls will tip the scales. They'll see either Romney or Gulianni and think "Oh screw it let's let a woman have her chance" And if any of you throw some poll at me about how women of such and such income brackets blah blah blah.....I'll puke on your shoes.

There are plenty of women that would want for Hillary to have a shot...but there are plenty who are sensible and would vote for the best candidate, regardless of gender. I think it a bit rich to suggest that all women are feminists who believe that a woman deserves to be in the White House simply by virtue of being a woman.

Or people will just find Guilianni or Romney to be more trustworth than Sen. Clinton.

In a country where the attractiveness of the candidates has been proven to be a factor in elections she might just lose because people post some pictures of her making ugly faces.

You have a point, what is up with her lack of photgeniosity???? Romney has the best attractiveness numbers, but he's gonna look like Mr Burns when he gets older I bet.

While I agree most Americans will not support the loss of gun rights, if the laws were in fact passed, a vast majority of Americans would give up their guns without incident. That said, it would require a Constitutional Ammendment and a boat load of highly publicized and horrific gun crimes in order to move to that level. Neither of which seems to be on the horizon.
