Thread: To Those that support illegals in the USA

Would your tune change if your daughter, wife, or sister were raped by an illegal?...or perhaps a family member was murdered?

Would would you still be such a champion? In the USA we have enough trouble with our own. What if this "protected" class destroyed your life?

would you still wave your flag of togetherness?

Besides most of you don't understand the powers behind the illegals and why they are really allowed to have more then citizens of the USA get and we pay the taxes, the illegals do not...they take and destroy.

Did I tell you my story of picking up a rape victim of an illegal on the side of the road?

When she told him "I'll get you", he just laughed and said "How, no one knows who I am or that I'm here"

Well, he spoke excellent English for an illegal alien, and he was quite candid with his reasons for coming to this country. I suppose that this entire conversation took place while he was raping her? What an absolute crock.

You live in Lake County. I live in Sonoma County, right next door. Both counties are full of immigrants, legal and not. Why don't you move if they bother you that much?

Human is Human Robo, legal or illegal in this situation makes no difference. Bad example. Many People get raped, and I believe you are attempting to play on people emotions to prove a point that has nothing to do with Illegal Immigration.

I understand that folks are distressed regionally by the influx but, we are all aliens if we trace it back. The right and too damed many on the left have bought into this issue as pressing beyond what it deserves. Manufactured crisis to detract from Iraq. IMHO anyway.

I agree it is an effort to distract from Iraq, but it ties into they why we are in Iraq - the unexplanable fear that many have for those that are different from themselves and that fear that turns to contempt. It is that contempt that allows so many to not give a damn about the death and destruction we have caused in Iraq. It is that fear and contempt that allowed them to approve of the war, approve of the invasion and attack on people that are different.

When asked what is the greatest commandment Christ said to love thy father with they whole heart, they whole soul and all that you are. When asked what was the 2nd greatest commandment Christ replied "to love they neighbor as thyself".

There are a lot of folks that must not love themselves very much.

So is it your stance that the parents that come to the USA illegally and make a baby here should be allowed to stay legally?

It is my stance that each case is an individual case and not for me to decide or judge. I also never said that mother in your other thread should be allowed to stay. I did say that your judgment (and obsession) with her is wrong (and abnormal, bordering on very creepy). Do the parents that send their children to boarding school deserve your contempt? Are they all abandoning their children?

We have the laws and those laws need to be enforced.

Corporations and private citizens that take advantage of the cheap labor and violate the laws, US citizens that run the corporations and hire the aliens to circumvent the employment and wage laws are the real criminals. They know better or they should know better and they are violating the law, they are the criminals.

A person who enters without proper authority or paperwork commits a misdemeanor upon entry. It it the entry that is illegal, not the fact that they remain. They are not the "criminals" that you think they are or that the OP seems to believe. Not all americans are rapists and not all illegals are rapists. Not all americans are murderers and not all illegals are murderers, etcetera, etcetera....

Immigration management has been a problem for this nation for almost as long as it has been a nation. You aren't the first to hate foreigners, you won't be the last.

B. How did the Old Immigrants (those currently in America) react to the influx of New Immigrants?

1. Old immigrants were mostly angered by the new wave of immigration. There was a rise in the membership of so called "nativist" groups like the know nothings who carried on anti immigrant activities.


2. Many felt that the new immigrants would take jobs away from Americans. No one complained when Asian immigrants were building the transatlantic railroad but when they were finished there was suddenly an emergence of anti Asian sentiment. What cause this, most likely racism but fear of job loss played a role as well. These anti Asian feelings led to two restrictive and discriminatory immigration laws designed to curb Asian immigration to the United States.


3. After 1917 there was a national paranoia that immigrants would bring communism to America. This idea will be further developed in the next lesson.

OK so you are firmly not comming out and saying much of anything then. I give you a scenarion which is pretty typical. here it is:

A man and a woman com into the USA. they are married already and have one child. All are legal residents of Mexico. The man gets a job using a faked identity. He has a faked SS card. The woman works part time cleaning houses and is paid under the table. Their child goes to public schools. They live in the USA for 4 years and have a new born baby that was born in the USA. Other than this they have no major problems with the law. Here is the question: Do you think thes parents and their other child should be allowed to stay in the USA legally because they have a child that was born in the USA?
