HOME VISITATION PROGRAMS FOR FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN AND FAMILIES EXPECTING CHILDREN

If they come, and everything isn't in line, there goes your children. This is a case of guilty until proved innocent and is illegal, and unconstitutional.

We must not allow government intrusion in our homes, and I for one will not.

If the bill is passed how exactly do you intend to stop them? Wouldn't the penaties for attempting to stop them end up being worse?

good thing this is a voluntary program, and a good one at that to be made available to people who need it.

i think many of this countries problems start with ill-equipped parents. so the more voluntary guidance programs made available to them, the better.

imagine this country if more parents encouraged their kids to take their education and personal health seriously.

Your paranoia is reaching levels of true absurdity. We have had such things in Britain for decades - my mum is a health visitor as it happens. They monitor the baby's health so that any problems can be caught early; and offer advice and support - particularly for first time parents not used to raising a child. This has never led to any mass epidemic of babies being stolen by the government.

who was the man in europe who said.. " The state already owns your children" we will educate them to do our bidding"...

this is a classic example of statism vs parental rights
Because whenever unlimited power and self righteous compassion are united, you end up with a bunch of self righteous pricks spending other people's money and patting themselves on the back for being compassionate.

I forget, but the state clearly thinks they will raise your children. That is not the case. I have about had it, this is tyranny and the destruction of family and family values.
