Let's pretend that Rudy and Hillary have already got nominated by their respective parties and the election is in full swing. Who would you choose?

No it's not. That's drama queen talk. Our democracy will keep floating on its layer of pond scum for the foreseeable future, whether I vote or not.

But is that a true democracy? A minority of the country who vote and elect someone? With the rest of the country choosing to have no say in it?

I'm negative because I've ceased to care. Our "leaders" are just mediocre liars awash in the common denominator. Not a single one of them is extraordinary or worthy of being president of the local PTA. This is the Age of Mediocrity, and that won't be changing for a very, very long time.

It will if you vote for a person who isn't in the big spotlight, but still has good ideas. Most Americans just pick one out of the two big candidates of the Repubs and Dems. There are others....

I like the idea but you have the wrong two candidates. it will end up being Fred Thompson and Al Gore.
