What is the status on this? I thought it had been repealed, or it was going to repealed, but apparently it hasn't yet? Does anyone know when it will be or why?

I thought it was going to be repealed the same weekend as the Freedom March last month.

They were full of shit. It's still stuck in Congress looking for sponsers (or waiting for sponsers to sponser something)

Oops! I thought this was about the Democrats so-called "Healthcare Bill." Don't ask them what it is 'cause they aint gonna tell. They are going to pass it without debate if they have to. Don't worry, though. They know what is best for you. You are too stupid to understand it anyway.

Since this thread seems to be about sex, I'll make you a deal. I promise not to ask if you promise not to tell. I have no desire to know what goes on in your bedroom (gay or straight). Please keep it off the street.

Repeal it now. There's no reason for it. Homosexuals deserve the right to be as open or closed about their sexuality as they wish to be, confined within regular social standards.

WOW!!! That caveat could mean just about anything.

I really REALLY don't care what any two consenting adults do in private. I do, however, have a major dispute when gays employ "in your face" tactics to advance their cause. I don't want heterosexual couples copulating in public. Likewise, the street is not the place for homosexual copulation.

You have the right to love whomever you wish. You have the right to cohabitate in any manner you choose. You do not have the right to force me to like it. You do not have the right to force me to fund your lifestyle choices. You especially do not have the right to force me to watch what I may view as immoral.

If your relationship is solely about your love for another human being, I find that to be a beautiful thing. Please don't try to cash in on it. You will only soil it. You will lead me to believe that your intentions are not about love but rather about financial gain.

Your sexual gratification is not my concern. Do it with the opposite sex. Do it with a member of the same sex. Do it with your favorite fruit or vegetable. Do it all by yourself. I don't care. Just don't do it in front of me.

No one is having sex in front of you. This isn't about that. This is about homosexuals being able to be open to the fact that they are homosexual if they want to be open about it. None of the homosexuals that I know have ever been "in your face" about their homosexuality. All they want is to be accepted as regular people like everyone else.

Obama's indecision to send more troops to Afghanistan is still weeks away. He's waiting for formation of the Gay Brigade.
