Here is a list of Presidential Executive Orders, from John Quincy Adams to Obama.

    http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/execu....php?year=1933

Please pay particular attention to the following Executive Orders: 6073, 6102, 6111, and 6260.

The United States Government, right now this very minute, is still in receivership.

Don't believe me? Think the US gubmint isn't bankrupt? Look here:

    Perry v United States 1935 http://newdeal.feri.org/court/294US330.htm

31 USC 5112 subsection (j) which you can find here: http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/ht...2----000-.html

And 5119 which you can find here: http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/ht...9----000-.html

And 12 USC 95 (a) which you can find here: http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/ht...5---a000-.html

Many people don't know, that the Government of the United States, was borrowing money from the King of France as early as 18 months after the Revolution!

But, this is only the BEGINNING of the horror of Presidential Executive Orders.

This Halloween freak show, gets much MUCH more interesting!

I was looking at the list on Wiki the other day. Clinton was the first of the worst offenders. After that, the trend seems to grow with Bush, then Obama, but I guess the last two wouldn't have been as high if they weren't issuing executive orders to undo the past president's executive orders.

I'm really giving Bush a break on this, as he was by far the most prolific EO writer.

Yes. You're exactly right, Blueneck. And that pattern, of Clinton-Bush-Obama, ripples across MANY of the really bad things that have been going on - signing statements, executive czars, ....

Here's the way it looks to me: The Congress that gave us Gramm-Leach-Bliley, that's when the problem started. Clinton, when he started out, was actually on the right track to mitigating our finance problem and reducing our budget deficit.

Then along came Gramm-Leach-Bliley, and the whole thing got blown right out of the water.

Enter the Neo-Cons, who saw this as further low-hanging-fruit for their little "disaster politics" operation, and now finally enter Obama who means well but doesn't have a clue, and.... voila, a big huge serious problem.

Now, things literally ARE "too big to fail". Allowing these entrenched institutions to fail, would cause the whole house of cards to come tumbling right down, including the most important thing of ALL, the "full faith and credit of the United States Government"!

    Here's a good one - Presidential Directive 51.

Check this out - this is what happens when the President declares martial law:

10995 Seizure of all print and electronic media in the United States

10997 Seizure of all electric power, fuels, and minerals, public and private

10998 Seizure of all food supplies and resources, public and private, including farms and equipment.

10999 Seizure of all means of transportation, including cars, trucks or any other vehicles, including control over highways, harbors, and waterways.

11000 Seizure of all American people for work forces under federal supervision; it allows the government to split up families if they believe that it is necessary.

11001 Seizure of all health, education, and welfare facilities, public and private.

11002 Registration by the Postmaster General of all men, women, and children for government service.

11003 Seizure of all airports and aircraft.

11004 Seizure of all housing and finance authorities; authority to establish forced relocation, designate areas that must be abandoned as 'unsafe'. Establishment of new locations for population groups, building of new housing on public land.

11005 Seizure of all railroads, inland waterways, and storage warehouses, public and private.

11051 Authorize the Office of Emergency Planning to put the above orders into effect in times of increased international tension or financial crisis.

"Increased international tension or financial crisis"? ??? Hello?

And um... this is a Presidential Directive, right? An "Executive Order". NOT approved by the Congress, NEVER voted on by the People -

In short, a rather transparent power grab, wouldn't you say?
