I just say it claimed by FFA that Bush is a liberal leftie.
I find that statement so absurd I really have no idea how to even respond. I'm speechless.
What about you. Do you agree that Bush is a liberal or a leftie?
True
False

He seems like a Rightie to me...perhaps not a true Conservative, but a Radical Right-Winger nonetheless.
FFA just doesn't want to be associated too closely with Bush, so he tries to distance Bush from himself by calling him a Liberal.
He's a socially conservative, economically moderate, politically liberal abomination. But, I'm socially liberal, economically and politically conservative, so I'm totally biased.
I don't think he is either, should have been 3 choices
liberal
conservative
incompetant
I'm with Prag
Personally, I think his main interest has nothing to do with anything but making himself and his cronies more powerful through any means necessesary.
Or course, that is "politician" rather than either of the polar opposites we are discussing.
Still say the claim that he is a liberal or leftie is absurd. What government he has grown he has done to give himself and corporate interests more power and money. Dept of Homeland Security is about more power for him through more beaurocratic control of "national security". Prescription drug bill was about making drug companies more money. Both sound pretty conservative to me.
Bush is a NeoCon. They're like Pro religion, pro democracy liberals. So he's marginally liberal, resembling the older Democratic breed.
