I am really growing weary of the mainstream media misusing the term "change in strategy." This weak mimic of Democrat speaking points is profoundly idiotic.

The notion that the ONLY "change in strategy" can be withdrawal from Iraq is moronic. Why is it that the media conveniently repeats DNC talking points? Why is the only acceptable “change in strategy” a withdrawal?

The notion that our military, while fighting a desperate enemy who wants to murder innocent men women and children, is not constantly adjusting and changing its strategy is naive and absurd.

Of course the military strategy changes constantly in war, along with the constantly changing counter strategies of our enemies. Are Democrats so dense that they don't understand or comprehend this basic military reality? Or is it just that they are engaged in desperate political rhetoric and see the deaths of our men and women fighting a war they voted for as political opportunity?

It is profound that many in this country see it as patriotic the efforts that impugn our troops and their Commander and Chief and support the efforts of the enemies who want to kill us.

How is dividing this nation around political ideology while men and women in our armed forces are in a struggle to destroy terrorism a "good" idea? How low must one have to go to use this war for political gain?

The only sensible thing would be for this nation to come together and see this effort through in a unified effort. IF we are divided, the enemy sees opportunity and it encourages them to continue their efforts. When politicians mimic the enemy’s statements about our efforts, it only serves those enemies and hurts our troop’s moral.

How is this a "good" thing?

If we pull out of Iraq, and Iraq descends into a civil war of profound proportions leading to potential genocide, how is that a "good" thing for us?

The Democrats made a commitment to the Iraqi people when they voted to send our military in. How do they improve America's image by not standing behind that decision? It is a travesty for Democrats to think that political opportunism trumps the sacrifice our troops have made and are making.
