It seems that the Average American Sheepheads are still in a Deep Slumber with regards to the Republican and the Democrat Party, they keep getting Duped with this Poker Game of Politicking the Hypnotized.

These Two Parties are both Corrupt and belong to the Same Party.

Iraq is not in danger out being taken over by terrorists if we withdraw those fighting the sectarian civil war. That is all the Levin Reed amendment was calling for. It allowed for continued troops (50,000 ot more is the military thinks they are needed) for fighting AQ, securing the border and training Iraqi troops.

Disengaging that part of the force that is stuck in the middle of sectarian fighting is far from anything that could legitimately be called "surrender". The use of the term is utterly innacurate.

You folks on the right should catch up to the debate. People are not talking about total withdrawal. They are talking about shifitng the mission focus to fighting the terrorists that Bush's invasion brought in while getting our forces out of the middle of the sectarian violence that has nothing to do with our national security concerns. If you did, maybe you would not sound like such propaganda machines with your innacurate bumpersticker slogans.

Not true - its quite possible to have lose/lose and win/win outcomes. Where there is no adversary, you can actually simply lose all by yourself...

Where to begin drubbing you on this one?

Lets begin with "the terrorists will take over if we leave"...the US military did simulations recently that showed that the expected outcome of the US leaving Iraq was the region splitting into to three distinct countries controlled not by Al Qaida but rather by that regions dominant ethnic/religious group.

Basically this is the same outcome that the democrats have put forth as a plan....

THe fact is my boy that Al Qaida is a itsy bitsy teeny weeny part of the fighters that are involved in the current civil war. The BS argument that the terrorists will somehow take over the country and set up a gvt that is nothing more then a mouth piece for OBL is just that BS. Al Qaida is already persona non grata in many parts of Iraq and local tribes have been working on pushing them out....I know that flies in the face of your armchair GI Joe fantasy wherein Al Qaida is somehow "COBRA" made real but facts is facts.

To be sure there are no crystal balls but given then outcomes forseen by the miltary's simulations, the opinions of leading thinkers on terrorism and Iraq and the simple fact that they have always been a vocal and violent minority...kind of like the righwing christian nutjob "Army of God"....the idea that they could actually take over the coutnry is asinine my super spinning republican friend.
