I'm not really familiar with that show. Do they often have entertainers as guests on their Sunday morning news shows? I thought most news outlets had political discussions on Sunday mornings.
As a Democrat, I take solace in the fact that the Republicans have nominated the guy who lost the nomination to the guy who lost the presidency to the guy who is now the President.

What you call an "entertainer" is a conservative political commentator. Here's his website in case you want to wake up from your Obamahypnostupor.

Well then, I really wish you people would make up your minds because when it suits your side, you refer to him as an entertainer. So your attempt to insult me falls a little flat, yannumsen?

This web site contains other words for Rush Limbaugh.

As always, Rush is strong on the broad truths and sort of falls short when challenged on the details. Chris actually stuck him pretty good on a few points, but Limbaugh just steps past it and continues his polemic. Limbaugh's optimal role is really that of a kind of political precinct captain. He gets the faithful jazzed about their purpose. I think a lot of his fans would be really disappointed if he participated in a serious debate. He's used to giving interrupted speeches.
"“Guess what women are taking about? I don’t care if they’re stay-at-home mothers or working mothers or grandmothers. They’re talking about jobs and the legacy of debt that we are leaving our children.” Ann Romney
"Any woman who understands the problems of running a home will be nearer to understanding the problems of running a country." - Margaret Thatcher

Are you unaware that political commentators are entertainers?

That would be because Limbaugh, on his radio show, never gets that many calls that disagree with him. He can pick and choose who to talk to, and avoid any and all dissent.
Therefore, his show is not an accurate depiction of the American people, nor is it an accurate depiction of his debate skills.
It is, however, a VERY accurate depiction of the rambling of a former(?) drug addict POS.

And you believe this because you listen to the show all the time? Or maybe that is what you prefer to believe?
I don't listen to Rush very often, just because talk radio isn't high on my priority list. But when I have listened in the past, he has had people on that completely disagree with everything he has to say. It's HIS show... I mean... He can have anyone on that he wants to have. The fact that he allows anyone else on at all says something in itself.
I think it is pretty telling when someone decides that they must use ad-hom attacks against people like Rush. I mean, if his message was so evil and easily debated, then you wouldn't have to resort to ad-hom...
Would ya?
The saddest part of this whole thing is that Rush's assessment of Obama is spot on.
I view Rush as a clown. Usually he is funny. Sometimes he is scary. He is often entertaining. He can at times be a bore.
You can't dispute the facts. Obama has never run anything. Obama has never had a "real" job. He is a 24 hr/day politician. He is an egomaniac. He wants to reform this nation in his own image. He loves himself more than life itself. He has no experience as a leader and has no idea what it is to make a leadership decision. He is as deep as a road side billboard...and twice as distracting.
I will back him as much as possible. He is my President. Hopefully that will change next time around. Hopefully the damage he does will be limited and reversible.
