Thread: Do you personally condone racial slurs against blacks?

I try to keep polls fair so I like offerening more choices but this one pretty much has to be a "Yes" or "No"

Ever? Well for educational purposes, yes I do. Also when I see play's that take part in the past, they should use the same words commonly used then to show a more realistic setting. Everything else is pretty much no.

What about family disputes? Lets say theres this young black man who's running with a bad crowd, and his mom/grandma/father smacks him in the mouth, grabs him by the ear, and throws him in his room and then says 'if youre going to act like a ******, I'm gonna treat you like a ******'. That sounds reasonable to me.

Mmmmm, I guess. But if you replace "mom/grandma/father" with "white police officer", than no. But then it wouldn't be a family dispute...

Oh no, family disputes only. Looking at the example I gave, I don't much like it, but it does get a point across and I wouldn't have a problem with the use of the term in that context. I also don't have a problem with friends who use the term on each other, if they aren't offended, I'm not offended. But I do have a white friend that uses the term in a derogatory manor, and I don't care for that so much. He seems to think that because he's only using the term to describe a particular behaviour, it should be fair game, never mind that he wouldn't actually use it to describe a white guy doing the same shit.

What about, "whassup my nigga!"?

No I don't condone the use of the n-word against blacks.
