What is the difference between democrats and republicans on things like war, spending, health care?

also unrelated question if i may, did the Iraqi people have free health care and post grad education under Saddam? do Americans have these things? will Iraqis have these things under US placed new government?

You would have a better conversation without dragging in justification of sadam's regime.

As time goes on there is less to differenciate them...but there are some differences.

1) Judges appointed to the courts.
2) Religious freedoms
3) Gun control
4) Abortion
5) Tax cuts

Other than those I can't think of any. They both crave power, they both care less about voters, they both want to spend us into oblivion....on and non....

Both parties seem to have only global and corporate interest these days. They both will lie to gain their power and then will lie about their lies. I swear, we need better. A third party, the Constitutional party would serve the Americans better.

The Republicans want to use massive federal government to empower themselves and their supporters, while the Democrats want to use massive federal government to empower themselves and their supporters. The Republicans are bad on social liberties and the Democrats are bad on economic liberties. The Republicans are too cold-hearted while the Democrats are utterly intolerant of anyone that disagrees with them.

The Constitution Party has run candidates at the local and national level. Nobody cares about the freedom issues. I helped a CP party candidate
run for office and a major plank was "stop illegal immigration" Nobody was interested. Everyone latched on to the Bush crowd. Ron Paul is running in this election (Republican in name only) Without question he has the most
liberty & freedom voting record in congress. No one even comes close.
I doubt the average American has a clue. They are caught in the two party ditch and will continue to vote for their enslavement.

Dems wear coolots and repubs wear pants.

Dems are asses & repubs are....asses too.

Both are truly vile political organizations. America needs a party that can take the country back to the perfect and shiny golden libertarian age of the 1780s, the Ultimate Absolutist Constitutionalist White Man Ron Paul party if you will.


Only then will all the country's problems be solved.

The US 2 party system is made for status quo and the differences between the 2 parties are cosmetic.

It's a horrible political system.
