Was it legal to allow failed financial institutions to remain in business ?

As for me, I believe many laws were broken and prosecutions should commence.

Depends what you mean by "legal".

Apparently, it's legal if the President says it's legal, and the Congress does nothing to stop him. That kinda seems to be the way it works these days.

But yeah, I hear you, sounds right to me. Let's have some prosecutions, and let's see if our Courts have any spine left, or if they're entirely worthless at this point.
