Is Joe Liberman the Democratic nominee in this fanciful scenario?

I would. I would vote for Lieberman, Richardson, Thompson as well. The rest are just meh, I'll pick the lesser of the two evils.

No doubt, but we have a better shot a Reagan getting the nomination.

I would vote for Paul simply because he wants to run our country as it was intended to be run in the beginning.

Oh yeah, and he doesn't believe the US of A should be able to take the money I bust my a$$ for to pay off illegal debt.

Hell yes and I think most would across party lines. He would, in my view, be the best president that this country has ever had.

Joe Meh Lieberman. You're supposed to sort of shrug when you say his middle name too.

Too much cranky kook factor for me. Shades of Ross Perot. Refreshing opinions, but I'd get really tired of his "cute old guy iconoclast" gig.

If there are so many supporters here for Paul, couldn't this be considered a small sampling? How can he not even appear on the polls? How accurate are polls and who runs them?

It's almost as if the polls try to convince everybody who to vote for because people are that stupid that they only know how to play follow the leader.
