    Gonzo Hangs On

    These democrats lost their bid for a no confidence vote against Gonzo. The vote was 53 yea 38 nay. As Maxwell smart would say "missed it by that much". Now lets get to work

    Sorry, i didn't see your thread when I started one.
    If Gonzalez is a bad as the dems say he is, why don't they impeach him?

    I don't think that he is impeachable as he was not voted in by the people for the people. He is one of those "serves at the pleasure of the president" types. I personally would like to see him have the courage to step down. He wont though, he will stand between congress and Bush.

    Ulyssis Grants Secretary of war was impeached, unless the US Constitution has been changed, a USAG can be impeached.
