Are you seriously comparing the US government to ancient Rome?

Please tell how you plan to manage our destiny? If you seriously believe we are on the brink of collapse please give credible examples. What reasons do you have to think that we will not balance out after a time? Far too often the over-emotional segments of society prophesize our doom, yet it hasn't happened yet and shows absolutely no sign of coming now. Whereas ancient Rome had the shadows of failure clearly demonstrated for decades, if not centuries.
