Question for those who are pro-choice: If a baby manages to survive an abortion attempt and is born alive, is it murder to kill that baby?

To kill the baby once it is out of the womb is murder.

It varies. I was born quite prematurely, and my chances of surviving were slim. I remember a member on this forum long ago said he would've considered it morally acceptable if someone were to come into the hospital room and kill me because I wasn't capable of surviving on my own (I needed machines).

What if that baby that was born alive will likely die in a few days? Is that still murder to kill him/her seconds or minutes after birth? I think it is murder.

Is it murder to ALLOW a baby that has survived an abortion attempt to die? Assume the aid of a doctor could save the baby.

Once the child is born/out of the womb then there is a medical responsibility to do everything medically possible to save the baby.

Of course it probably wouldn't be covered under insurance. Would you consider an insurance company guilty of murder if they refused lifesaving treatment of this child?

I think if the baby can survive on its own then its murder. I don't know that much about the machine argument. Its completely situational.
