So, it's the Democrats' fault again, it's the Democrats' fault because John Edwards tried to get Dick Cheney to openly acknowledge that gay people HAVE RIGHTS as well as straight people?

At least John Edwards was well-mannered and civil when he brought up the topic of Dick Cheney's gay daughter.

As we know, Republicans WEREN'T well-mannered and civil when they brought up the topic of Chelsea Clinton....in fact SOME of them were downright nasty....such as John McCain.

McCain told a GOP fundraiser:

"Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly? Because Janet Reno's her Father."

And the GOP audience thought that was HILARIOUS.

Fact is, Mary Cheney works for the W Administration, she gets a salary paid to her by the taxpayers....she works for an Administration that's been ANTI-gay people from day one....her Father, happens to support everything that Congress has ever tried to do to discriminate against gay people....so I think John Edwards had every right to bring the subject up with Dick Cheney.

That is not to say Cheney and Poe will not love their child. But love alone is not enough to guarantee healthy growth and development. The two most loving women in the world cannot provide a daddy for a little boy—any more than the two most loving men can be complete role models for a little girl.

It's amazing that the W supporters really can't grasp the concept of the hypocrisy of Dick Cheney AND the Republican Party in general.

Mary Cheney wasn't accepted at the 2004 RNC, she was hidden in the rafters for 98% of that Convention....I'd say a MAJORITY of Republicans TOTALLY disagree and are probably cussing tonight at how DISGUSTING they think it is that Mary and her girlfriend have had a baby.
