Is It Possible to "Win" In Iraq?

I'm not sure what the definition of that is still supposed to be. So, use yours.

Myself, I doubt it was possible to do militarily what they planned to do in the first place. I suspect it was doomed to fail from the start.

Maybe if they had initially done it differently it might have had more of a chance. It seems to have been poorly thought out after the remove Saddam stage.

Sure we can "win" but can we win? No (per my vote).

Set in quotations, it can mean whatever Bush chooses it to mean.

In fact, Harry Reid made a mistake when he said we lost. He should have said, we've "won"...now let's go home.

As soon as the US separated from the UN on the issue- it always going to be difficult to sell to the locals as anything but a profiteering crusade. Having said that, if they had kept the Baathists in power, maybe it could have gone alot smoother....
