Oath Keepers pledges to prevent dictatorship in United States

I am sure that the Zionist run SPLC and ADL will have a ball with this.

See what I mean, truth be known, the Oath Keepers is new, and very non-racist or partisan, but the SPLC will demonize them...

In a July report titled "Return of the Militias," the Alabama-based Southern Poverty Law Center singled out Oath Keepers as "a particularly worrisome example of the Patriot revival."

The Patriot movement, so named because its adherents believe the federal government has stepped on the constitutional ideals of the American Revolution, gained traction in the 1990s and has been closely linked to anti-government militia and white supremacist movements.

The SPLC does have cause to be worried, hell we all know that and who they are.

It is getting pretty bad when you start seeing reports like this on a MSM site. Shit is heating up, and the blatant actions from the federal liars are becoming clear. As people lose their lives to these scum, the response has been to spend and tax more on everything from banker bonuses, to illegal occupations and war. Their hubris is going to be their death.

More specifically, the group'smembers, which number in the thousands, pledge to disobey orders theydeem unlawful, including directives to disarm the American people andto blockade American cities.
Considering there have been no orders to "disarm the American people" or "blockade American cities," I can expect they have a very light schedule these days. I wonder how many of these people will decide not to pay their income taxes on the grounds that the deem such a tax to be "unlawful?"

As far as this being "big news" is concerned, two things to consider. First, it's a slow news day. I just checked, and the top CNN headline concerns Latina quinceañera celebrations.

Second, stories about militias are nothing new. Remember when the "Minuteman Militia" was relevant? Or pre-2000, when we all read MSM articles about militias preparing for the New World Order to seize control during the imminent Y2K catastrophe? This is no different.

Rhodes, a former firearms instructor, said he easily could have started Oath Keepers during the Bush administration, but his focus during those years was first on getting his law degree and then volunteering on the 2008 presidential campaign of Texas Congressman Ron Paul, a libertarian Republican in whose office Rhodes worked during the 1990s.

Their leader is a libertopian supporter of Ron Paul. No surprise there. Whackadoodles are attracted to each other.

Tiger infestations haven't happened either. At least, not in the U.S. While I suppose that such an infestation is theoretically possible (and somewhat awesome), I'm not planning on starting an anti-tiger movement, "just in case."

Been there in 1929. Stayed there for a few years. We managed. We'll manage again, without an armed revolt.

At the risk of being called a name just for asking you a question, what do you mean by the above quoted comment, who are they?

Relative to your OP about the Oath Keepers, do you think RashBones is an Oath Keeper?

There are many differences between now and the 30's. We lost our ability to manufacture, therefore recover. The jobs gone are gone for good, and there will be many more coming up. Also in the 30's a huge portion of the population war rural, were all trapped in cities now, and with no way to produce what we need. Further more, most of our foods are imported, and with the inflation coming, you will not be able to afford transportation costs. These are realities, and a belief that things will magically become better, and take a wait and see approach, is dangerous to say the least.

People like you are the problem. Pretending the oncoming tiger infestation problem isn't there doesn't make it go away. Lucky for you there are anti-tiger patriots like me keeping a wary eye on these fearsome beasts. Do you think tigers can be trusted? Do you want tigers babysitting your children? Serving in the military? You probably even support the rights of tigers to marry American citizens too. Honestly, if a tiger won election to the office of the President of the United States, you wouldn't even care if it denied you access to it's long form birth certificate.

    Traitor.

What truly concerns me is that someone, such as this Rhodes character, decides to start a group of disatisfied anti-government cranks, appoints himself as head of the groupd and claims to represent the best interests of the American people. He claims the right to decide when the military and law enforcement should disobey their sworn duty to protect the public.

Did Rhodes ask the American public if they want him representing them? No. Does Rhodes have any lawful authority to legitimize what is essentially sedition? No. Does Rhodes have the authority to ignore the results of a legitimate election and attempt to put someone in the presidency who was not lawfully elected to that office? No.

Their sworn duty is to protect the constitution from all enemies, both foreign and domestic.

He has a duty to see the illegal orders are not to be carried out.
