Does that mean when I have kids I can ship them out to work so I can sit on my butt all day and do nothing and, when they get home they can cater to me?

Children today only know how to talk on cell phones and play video games. I really do not see many of them getting jobs. Do you? I have no idea what will become of this new crop of children going through high school now. They sit around all day eating and looking at the computer. They know very little about personal communication and such. I truely am worried about the future of America. Schools do not challenge students anymore. Many parents have no clue how to enact responsibility in their children. Children just half a generation ago did not sit in front of the internet all day. It was new and not widely used. It is really sad.

Times are changing, but don't underestimate the potential of American youth, because this is all in our control. Whether my wife and I work four jobs a piece, the bottom line is WE will raise our children, and teach them the necessary life lessons to be successful. I for one will not blame our Country for how my children are raised. Its all about Accountability. If your kids grow up to only play video games and hang out on My Space, then you are a failure as a parent.... Period. We need to stop being such crybabies and handle our own family business.
