Thread: Did Liberals Trash Imus to Help Hillary?

That's the word...........that Imus didn't like her and she wanted him off the air as she runs for President. Since his audience is Democrat voters, you can see her point.........but it's a crummy thing to do.

Hasn't Imus been doing this stuff for years? Was this the first time? I doubt it, although I wasn't a listener.

Every Liberal news media picked up this stuff and ran with it so it was orchestrated throughout the Liberal media. Hillary has that kind of power over them.

Let's help her lose by beating her in 2008, Republicans!

It's a theory that bears considering and watching for same-same in the future. The Hillary Machine control much of the major media, esp. the networks and they all jumped big time on this bandwagon. Like I said, the story became much bigger than it deserved to be unless we've simply become a country totally enthralled with merely the trivial events. (there is evidence of this, for sure.......America Idon, Britney Spears, etc...)

And when Rosie and Oprah pick it up, it becomes more likely in my opinion.

Why don't you post a link to a news story, not a blog, that suggests that Hilary had something to do with Imus using the type of language that he did.

You are one funny guy! I heard it was Dick Cheney who did it. No! maybe it was Alberto Gonzalez. How about Albert E Newman or Julius Ceasar? I belive I have the same amount of documentation (nothing!) that you have to support your theory.

He was fired because advertisers pulled their ads. CBS had actually given him a two week paid vacation for the statements. However, the advertisers forced their hand that resulted in his firing. After all, it is ALWAYS about money.

As for who controls the media, gimme a break. Media picked Adam Putnam's garbage about pelosi's private plane and ran all over with it. The fact that it was dictated by the same security concerns that had hasturd in the plane just never came out.

imus was filled with hate and love. On a daily basis one could hear his vile rants of hate and intolerance. On the other hand he donated much money to children's causes at hospitals. I believe Hackensack hospital has a special Don Imus children's wing/building. Many kids will be better off because of him.

The world-famous "liberal media". There is far less evidence of any liberal media conspiracy than there is to support global warming. But since the liberal media myth is a handy way to dismiss anything negative reported about a republican, you'll go along with that one. But since global warming puts pressure on people who pay the republicans' bills, you won't go along with that one. Have I got this about right so far? Total partisan horse shit, all of it.

I'd like to point out that the "liberal media" -- including Don Imus, as you so helpfully pointed out --has been ANYTHING but kind to Hillary Clinton over the many years she has been in the public eye. She has risen within the democratic party in spite of some very harsh images of her in the media, not because of some liberal conspiracy that has supported her somehow.

It is unsubstantiated gossip. It is just gossip. For you to suggest people who make a living gossiping and therefore passing on gossip make the gossip legitimate because they do that for a living on t.v. makes no sense.
