Thread: Calling for Impeachment of President Bush

Whenever I feel bad about our terrible president I just google a JFK speech and it makes me feel better. I really think its time to impeach his ghetto skull-n-bone ass. hsnap:

It won't happen. Impeachments are extremely rare, and there have been far worse presidents who never even heard a threat of impeachment. The first case of impeachment was due to corruption on the impeacher's side! The Republicans wanted control of the presidency, and they decided impeachment of Johnson was better than vetoing vetos. Also, JFK is as worthy of impeachment as Clinton: what JFK did was much worse, although he was a better president than Clinton.

Bush is no where near impeachment. I partly saw this in his election VS Kerry. I saw both as stone-faced, inhuman politicians during the debates. But after the election, I saw that both were good men, and they wished eachother the best.

Bush is a good man in a hard time. If this were a time of peace and economic prosperity, Bush would be doing just fine. He would probably be just like the presidents of the late 1800s: not so memorable, but still loved by the people.

Yeah, Bush isn't going to be impeached. I'm fine with the knobknocker not being impeached, frankly. Just let his catastophic presidency end with a lovely whimper in a couple of years and we'll move forward, simply forgetting the dipshit shortly after the next president resolves the Iraq Occupation we'll still be embroiled in. Let him have his presidential library where he'll be found leafing through Curious George books trying to sound out words.

More character assasination. It's just low-minded to call someone names when you disagree with them. It's what kids do on a playground. Why dont we all quit with the name calling and start DEBATING again. We are better than

I think its absolutely imperative that a congressional investigation is made into the conduct leading up to the war. If this is by the impeachment process than so be it. The pipes have to be cleaned to prevent another disaster...
