Democrats Do Not Support The Troops They Do Lie About It

Generally speaking Democrats disdain the military. The defense of the nation takes a back seat to redistributing money.

Dems have learned, that America loves its military and is very proud of it, so they measure what they can get away with but sometimes their true feelings slip out.
    __________________________
John Kerry dropped out of the running for the nomination soon after he made his stupid remark suggesting that our military members have less smarts than others, so they wind up in Iraq.

In the 1960’s Bill Clinton wrote "A lot of wonderful people love their country and hate the military." We know you and Hillary did Bill, you might tolerate it now, to get Hillary elected.

Now they make obsequious statements of support leading up to their harmful actions.

Their votes in congress are the opposite of their deceptive words.

We who were staunch Democrats through the John F. Kennedy and Hubert Humphrey years wonder how much lower this party can go.

Oh. My. God. And I bet you were the ONLY exception out of a sea of Republican voters! How'd you avoid the lynch mobs?

I drank heavily, fooled around with women, and complained about making $1,000,000 a year and paying taxes on it. Everyone was convinced I was Republican.

I would think, and i'm just making this up now, that if you didn't care about US troops... I mean if there was a person who really totally did not give a shit about US troops... then that person would not make any effort to bring a troop home, would not complain about Iraq in the least. Would not even think about it. he would go about his day saying, 'US troops are in Iraq and I don't give a fuck.'

he would not, could not logically, spend time and money trying to bring the troops home, would not go out and protest, would not, if he were in government, draft legislation to bring them home, give or take money away from them. Wouldnt do a thing.

A person who didn't care at all about the troops WOULD say... 'my country's reputation and win-loss record is important, and those dudes I don't know in Iraq are not. I don't care about them at all. So I say let them stay there and die if pulling them out would be embarrassing to ME and make me feel bad about myself and my support for the war thus far'.

Thats what I think a person who didn't care about the troops would do. Put their own interests ahead of the troops.

Kind of the definition of not caring about them.

Now someone who goes out of their way to bring them away from a dangerous place.... sounds like caring to me.

Clarification doesn't make you correct. It's still absurd.

Shadow Im kinda inclined to agree. I mean, Democrats have a history of slashing millitary budgets. Republicans do not have this history.
