This is a term used by liberals to assuage their fears of being called anti-military, or to defend themselves after already being called anti war.

Only full hearted, honest to goodness support for the military will bring about a U.S. victory. I do not mean a victory in Iraq or Afghanistan spefically, but a victory for any conflict in general.

I fully support our military. I want them to have every possible piece of equipment to keep them alive. I want them to be paid more. I want them to have better healthcare for their families. I want them to have a better pension. I would say that I support our military.

However, I don't believe that our war with Iraq is justified or morally correct.
